In 1901 Tsunehide authored a woodblock-printed picture book entitled Mōhitsuga Hitori Geiko (i.e., Brush Painting Instruction Manual). It included the fourteen pictures of flowers, fruits or birds shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Tsunehide drew his picture subjects in a true-to-life way which was typical for Japanese artists in the early 1900s.
